They should not have used Texas in the title. The location is so obviously Arizona that it should be set there. Old Tucson is easy to spot. The other location, Sabino Canyon is across town on the other side of Tucson.

Not farfetched at all! Guadalupe Peak at 8,750' which is more than twice the elevation of nearby El Paso, routinely gets snow. It's not uncommon in El Paso itself.
