it doesn't matter how many main girls that a slasher movie has, none of the main girls will show their tits or ass. this movie is the epitome and the ultimate example of this trend. 6 main girls, who are all some of the most beautiful girls who have ever lived and none of them show their tits or ass. what the fuck?

if there is a mainstream, Hollywood slasher movie made, none of the main girls will show nudity. they need to stop this pussy trend in Hollywood right now. it didn't used to be this way. in slasher movies like the friday the 13th movies in the '80s the main girls used to show nudity.

and this movie makes it worse because two girls show their tits and another girl shows her ass who are all side one scene characters. they make it even more glaring, this problem. they make you think even more about how none of the main girls show nudity.

I know. That was one of the best parts of those movies. I don't get off to depictions of naked actresses in slasher movies, it's more like I'm used to it being there and think it's not a slasher unless nudity and sex are in it. It's part of the standard of that genre in my opinion as a horror movie fan and critic.

it was the hallmark of '80s slasher movies and thus it became what was essential to a slasher film and it's what people expected from them. it made sense to the formula.

back in the '80s actresses were real actresses, actresses who didn't mind getting down and dirty for a role, they had real commitment to their craft. nowadays, it's just a job to move to the next, big thing. this is wrong.

this is why in the friday the 13th films for example, the main girls showed their tits. like in part 2, kirsten baker showed her tits, in part 4 judi aronson showed her tits and ass. nowadays you almost have to go to independent or b movie slasher movies to get nudity from a main girl character.

another thing i thought about today is back in the '70s and '80s movies were so free with nudity, sexuality, and sex themes and ideas. you'd get a movie like 3 way weekend for example, a light hearted sex comedy which was totally free in it's spirit and abilities.

this movie was a comedy but it could be classified as a softcore porn movie but it's just a sex comedy because it was made in the '70s or '80s so it was restricted to softcore porn classification. so they had total freedom back then. it's sad how they don't have freedom in movies anymore related to sex and nudity.

And I think the actresses cared about their craft then like they do now and that actors agree to take roles that they can get the most exposure. Although I think it best that you find interviews of these actors in order to fully understand how they came to do the movie. That information isn't always readily available. I used to watch a lot of shows where actors were interviewed about their career choices. It wasn't like a job intervew or anything like that, it was moreso of getting to know that actor because it was part of the interest of host.

The reason you don't find hosts asking those deep questions exept for perhaps late night talk show hosts would more likely be because it may be a secret of the trade or probably no longer relevant to ask the actor those questions. The actor has some contol over the content of the questions.

Honestly, do you really wanna know why the actor chose that role and wy they agree to be nude? I think some don't want to play a character that gets nude and I don't think it has to do wih them being lazy. Hopefully I never said otherwise. I don't think I have.

Anyway, it's your opinion and perhaps a good debate for filmboards since cynics regarding the film industry are prevalent here.

you're wrong. actresses back in the '80s had a greater work ethic and a greater passion for acting in slasher movies than they do nowadays, what else could explain this fact of nowadays slasher movies almost never having one of the main character girls show nudity whereas in the '80s it was almost always one of the main character girls who shows nudity?

i heard nowadays actresses have more rights to not having to show nudity but this is wrong if its' in the script they have to show nudity because that's what is required of them as actresses and because that's what the character does in the story.

no, i'm talking about nowadays actresses as being not committed to their craft and not as serious about their craft. you find this though mostly in american actresses, because British, French, Italian, and Hispanic actresses don't do this weak and unprofessional thing, this aversion to nudity. it's about american actresses of nowadays not having the confidence to show nudity.

So you are telling me that currently American actresses refuse to audition for slasher horror films because they don't care that getting nude in a slasher horror film would eventually lead them to a prestigious acting award or wildly successful like Jami Lee Curtis? yes i'm passionate because i'm an old school slasher movie fan. i grew up with these movies in the '80s; the best decade for slasher movies. jamie lee curtis never got nude in a slasher movie, as far as i know and she's had a great career so i don't understand why you said she didn't.
