Works across the board (spoilers)

Youth works across the board. Nay-sayers here are dead wrong when they say this film is a bore. Youth is a panorama of life, young, old, male, female, and lots in between. The little girl talks to Paul Dano and gives him insight to his film. The soccer player talks to the little left-handed kid, telling him that he too is left-handed. Michael Caine shows the little kid the correct way to play his violin while practicing his Simple Song. Caine visits his aging wife in the hospital/nursing home, she's out of it, yet he talks to her, and he recalls her while the Asian soprano is singing his Simple Song. Miss Universe gives Paul Dano a smack down, demonstrating why 'she is not a stupid woman.' Harvey Keitel explains what life looks like when you are young, and what it looks like when you are old. On and on. The panorama of life for one and all is elucidated in Youth. It is hardly a bore or 'slow' as some posters have said.
