I'm not referring to the fact that it all takes place on a computer screen. That didn't really bother me.
No, I had a hard time making it through because literally every single character in this movie is either selfish, two-faced or a total piece of shit. Not a single person worth rooting for, therefore I wanted all of them to die. And they did, which is one of only a few good things I can say about the film.
And when you want the protagonists to die and none of them to live, you find yourself rooting for the monster. And therein lies another problem; you can't be afraid of the monster if you're rooting for it.
