The Iceman : So many great actors.

So many great actors.

How do this many great actors get cast in a movie that no one has heard about?

Re: So many great actors.

This might be one of those things that actors like to do because it's an interesting challenge, not necessarily thinking it's likely to achieve much commercial success.

It really was a terrific cast.

Re: So many great actors.

I think you may be right. I think they also got actors who just love to act. I know Ray Liotta is one of those guys. I heard him on a podcast once and he said he loves that he gets to "make pretend" for a living.

Re: So many great actors.

Yeah, this film was exceptionally well cast. I especially loved seeing Ray Liotta and Robert Davi as ruthless Mafia guys.

Yes, this is really me.

Re: So many great actors.

Ray Liotta was otherworldly. I think he stole the film in one of his best performances, in a film that no one knows, that proved he was still A-Game late in his career though underappreciated in probably his best Mob role.

Love the scenes between Liotta and Michael Shannon in the car.
