Deep Blue Sea : Sand Tiger Shark Teeth On Great Whites?

Sand Tiger Shark Teeth On Great Whites?

One of the things that has always bothered me about this movie. Why genetically altar Great White Sharks so instead of their serated shot glass sized teeth you give them thin, pointy sand tiger shark teeth instead? Makes the Sharks look less terrifying than they really are to me.

Re: Sand Tiger Shark Teeth On Great Whites?

They're mako sharks. Although it was a mistake to just reskin the mako design and call it a tiger shark.

Re: Sand Tiger Shark Teeth On Great Whites?

I know they say 'Mako' in the movie, but they don't look like any Makos I've ever seen. Makos are slender bodied with pointier snouts and much more streamlined than whites. The Deep Blue Sea sharks look like white sharks with teeth from a different species grafted on.
