Ronald Colman : Ronald Colman - Top 20 Highest Rated
Re: Ronald Colman - Top 20 Highest Rated
Hi Steve
Well, not too much disagreement. I would agree with the top four.
Lost Horizon never appealed that much to me, so I would flip it with Random Harvest, which somehow gets to this cynical, bitter old codger's unfeeling heart.

Hello John, still sorting things out here after our big move, I'd forgotten I even did a Ron Colman video. Seems like it was in the distant past! :)
Random Harvest had high ratings just not as much as the top three from my sources. The top three were pretty much neck and neck and with my god-like powers decided to give dear old Lost Horizon a shot at no.1. it was Frank Capra's biggest flop but a fascinating slice of fantasy and production design, it's worth another look.

Hi Steve
Well, Lost Horizon certainly has its fans. I will have to give it another shot some day.
Getting away from everything has a lot of appeal during bad times and the 1930's and 1940's certainly qualify as about as bad as it had gotten.
**Lost Horizon was remade in the 1970's as a crummy musical. I don't think I will give that remake another shot.
