Echelon by The Adlerian, is a science fiction novel that has a very intriguing and unique story line. The Adlerian is the main character in the story. He is an artificial life form who comes to earth with super strength and plenty of strange powers. He joins up with several other super heroes to protect the population of the world.

All of the characters are well portrayed, and they have to face several monsters, and various adversities. The story is engrossing through to its conclusion.

The author is a talented storyteller. However, the writing showed a lack of basic English grammar know-how. A great writer does not need to be a good editor as well as a storyteller. However, they do need to ensure that a book has a final edit before it is published. The failure to bring this manuscript up to publishable standard prior to placing it on the market has cost the author two of the stars that I awarded him for the story.

Having said that, I believe that this is an author to watch. I still recommend this book to lovers of the science fiction genre, and I think that this author will be seen by many readers as one with high potential once his manuscripts have received a skilled structural edit. It isn’t ready for a proof-reader as it stands due to the many tense changes, typos and missing words that distract from the story there is much still needing to be done to this story before it is ready to be presented for sale.

This appears to be The Adlerian’s first book. As such, it is a brilliant breakout novel and the author will no doubt take notice of the reviews pointing out the need for an edit, and will, I'm certain, follow up and arrange this. I would not allow this common enough mistake by relatively new authors who publish a work before it is quite ready deter readers from discovering this new writing talent.
I am giving this three stars, but I am still recommending this author’s work—once they get their book edited.

This book actually reminded me of the pseudo-philosophical sci-fi books I used to enjoy by older authors in my younger years. I couldn't really get past some of the errors and the need for a solid edit. Some sections almost sounded incomplete, while others dragged on and were slightly tangential. I think that the author just needs some guidance on creating a compact book with a good flow, rather than just dropping in the occasional brilliant piece of narration or dialogue and then hoping that strings a reader along to the next good part.

The discussion of human nature was well worth struggling through some of the rougher elements of this book, and I think that while the early analysis of humanity was a bit too gracious, the final conclusions that the Adlerian come to are more insightful than you realize at the time of reading. This book stuck in my mind after I finished it, and if the entire reading process had been more enjoyable, I would recommend this one to anyone with a good head on their shoulders. Strange times are always fun to read about, but the book itself needed work.

It’s ok I guess, but it would be way cooler if the author could rep 1000lbs on the squat.

His name is actually The Adlerian?

Re: Reviews of TheAdlerian's book

Yes, he had it legally changed. His birth name is Charles Manson II.

Re: Reviews of TheAdlerian's book

Then you are doxxing him and should be banned.

Read it. It's as big a pile of trash as you would imagine. Looks like a mildly retarded 10 year old wrote it after getting cracked out on too many Coca-Puffs while watching a best of He-Man marathon.

Bring. More. Sheep.
