The Soapbox : Old IMDb posts

I noticed that my old IMDb name has only one page of posting history now - all from 5 years ago. Sometime in the last 6 months, I was able to go back all the way to the very beginning of my post history just by clicking on my old name and going to the profile page. Was there a recent data cleanup or something here where that was changed. @nimba

After reading this post I checked out my old name and found the same thing. Definitely must have been some sort of purge.

That sucks. It was funny because I opened an account on IMDb 15 years ago, made one post, and then didn't make another one until about 8 years ago, after which I started posting regularly.

They fixed it now.

Awesome, I like my nostalgia fixes every now and then.

I linked my account in 2017 and this was the oldest then also. My gut feeling is linking protected me from the purge. I do remember some posts from that thread that are no longer there.
