The Walking Dead : My initial thoughts on the Kyle Rittenhouse trial

Yes. He was just used as a pawn in the war between the protesters and the businesses. And he was 16 year old teen trying to be a good person and he was sent out there like a sheep amidst the wolves. He was chased and viciously attacked.. he was defending his life against attacks from a mob of angry protesters trying to murder him..

The business that asked him to defend them could have easily called for the police assistance. Law enforcement did arrive but after the fact.


Yes Rittenhouse was armed but in that state he was within his rights to carry a firearm like that and he did not use the weapon or point it until he was chased, hunted and attacked first. He was meant to be armed security basically.

Those protesters were dangerous people. They already had firearms. Some of them seemed already trained for combat judging by that drop kick well aimed at Rittenhouse head. Those protesters knew how to hunt down a target too. That was obvious from testimony and via video surveillance.
