S.W.A.T. : Music didn't fit in with the movie.

Music didn't fit in with the movie.

Songs like Jimi Hendrix's Crosstown Traffic and Jane's Addiction's Just Because are good rocking songs but were used at the wrong time in the movie.

The Linkin Pak bit ain't much better either.

Anyone else agree?

Re: Music didn't fit in with the movie.

I'm watching this movie late night on a Friday, and I keep noticing how god awful the musical score is. It's DREADFUL.

Re: Music didn't fit in with the movie.

Watching it now, I think a few songs are too up beat for the bad situation.

@reckless_life Oh Christ, yes. I'm speedwatching this and the music during the training scenes are hilariously inappropriate. They should've used a score, something Hans Zimmer-ish would've been perfect.

Re: Music didn't fit in with the movie.

Has nobody mentioned the horrible rip-off of the Mission Impossible theme used throughout the movie? What were they thinking?? Made the whole film smell of cheese.

I know I am a couple of years late with this reply, but, I just re-watched the movie and came on here to see what people were saying.
S.W.A.T. did not rip-off the Mission Impossible theme song, the song that was being used was the original theme song from the 1970s TV show.
