I just saw this episode of Streets Of San Francisco. John delivered a creepy, haunting performance which i think was ahead of its time

Yes, I agree with you. I just saw John in that episode yesterday, and his character was very convincing.

I wonder how he's doing lately, haven't seen him on TV for many years -- hope he's doing well. God bless you, wherever you are, John!

I'm now watching that episode. Like all these old shows with drag queens, though, they present John as if he makes up into a believable and passable woman and no one has a clue about his gender except the people at his drag shows.
