Also saw Frankie Boyle at London doing a weird gig at a tiny venue where he was trying out new material and reading some of it off an A4 pad.

This was before he went woke and weird

The best current stand up acts are obviously Gervais and:

Billy Connolly is the only name you'd recognise of the stand up comedians I've seen. And he was very funny.
