At present Australia either recommends or requires Hep B, Yellow Fever, Rabies, Tetanus and Japanese Encephalitis. It would be interesting to know if Djokovic had received those.

I haven't met anyone who had more than 2-3 days discomfort with the vast majority feeling fine after 24 hours of less. After my booster my arm was sore for a day or two, probably couldn't have played tennis to be frank but I could have gotten into Australia.

Djokovic shot himself in the foot, not because he wanted to make a stance about vaccination but because he thought he was special.

Well, we've had very different experiences with the vaccine. I'm guessing that, as a very healthy athlete, Novak didn't want to take any risks.

As I understood it, somebody issued him an exemption and then the government overruled the decision. It was a complex issue which required a court hearing.

I don't see what he's done wrong.

As I understand it Djokovic was/is anti-vaccine and stated from the get go that he would not want to be forced to have a vaccine in order to travel. He has often refused to state his vaccination status, that's not a crime of course, but the fact that he boasted an exemption on his social media clearly means he isn't.

Those parties also show that the people with all the "facts" know there's nothing to fear from the virus, for most of the populace.
