If there were no consequences for the rest of us, for instance children who can't take the vaccine, I could get some grim pleasure at the thought that so many idiots are being wiped out or at least made to suffer.
The problem is that this isn't the only thing that happens. Every person who gets the disease running throughout their body unchecked by a vaccination is giving the virus an environment to evolve in and potentially become ever stronger, perhaps vaccine resistant. And that prospect robs any joy I'd have in mocking these morons for catching it even though the tools have been made freely available for them to avoid this fate.

I don't see myself as anti-vax, just pro-choice, especially when it comes to the experimental Covid vax.
Its way too soon to make any assumptions about the effectiveness of it and I am curious to see how things will pan out over the next 6 months with the cooler months and natural flu season coming on in the Nth Hemisphere. This is where there are a large number of the world's vaxxed pop and majority of the worlds pop reside.

I am pro choice as well, for the same reasons. I believe that everyone should be allowed to make up their own minds. We just don't know anything at this point.

My sister and brother-in-law just got their first jabs today.
My sis is not a critical thinker though, simpleminded and will do whatever is suggested. Her hubby was opposed, so not sure what his reasoning is now.
I’m not a virologist nor a epidemiologist and most people are flying blind to a complex science that in the larger scheme of things in terms of entire population, only a handful of medical professionals would understand this. It can therefore be easy to manipulate and made out to be whatever those with the stranglehold want it to be.
I will not just trust on a biased one sided narrative.
I have had several major shots in my childhood and I’m still here, but I see things like small pox, polio, cholera,TB, diphtheria, (some of those bacterial), operating on a different dynamic to a common coronavirus, which is after all what COVID19 is.
