7.5/10 quite entertaining. Only thing is it’s super woke.. they’ve made the main characters gay. Everyone is gay in this. I suspect even Chucky is gay. It’s ridiculous.

I watched the Squid Game and they made a random fat VIP bad guy into a gay sexual predator in a scene that was a sort of head nod to Harvey Weinstein.

Don Mancini, the creator of Chucky, and writer of every Chucky movie, is gay. That's why.

The original Child's Play script was much more gay, centered more on Andy and his doll and the special bond they shared (gays love little boys and dolls), but it was re-polished by other writers and the director who added in the serial killer element, voodoo, and Charles Lee Ray, which stayed in the Chucky lore. That's why the first one seems not gay.

When Don started getting more creative control, the gayness shines through (Seed of Chucky, Glen, John Waters).

The scene of Chucky sitting on top of tied-up Andy in bed in CP2. It's obvious where his was when he wrote that. It's obvious boy/little twink man with penis who is the dom fantasy. It makes for a good scene though, even though Don is a gay pervert who disguised his fantasies through horror.

Any time there is a gay writer in a movie/tv series, their gayness shines through in the subject at hand, the comments the characters make, the visuals, the male gaze. Shots of Batman's butt and Bat nipples, and their suits made to look like sculpted muscles of a Greek Statue. The dom/sub relationship Batman & Robin had in Batman & Robin. It all shines through. Joel Shumacher, Bryan Singer, Ryan Murphy.

American Horror Story created by Ryan Murphy (Glee!!!!): "gay porn is hot" Yeah a straight school shooter would totally say that. Right, Ryan Murphy.

That is the only thing I respect from that guy PE. He has an eye for certain things. Everything else about him is fucky creepy. His sense of authority and entitlement is very annoying.

Yeah, in the original, Andy was the killer. The twist at the end revealed it was Andy the whole time (who pushed his Aunt Maggie out of the window). Don would have never gone with manly Brad Dourif to voice Chucky - his voice and manliness are the antithesis to Don's original intent. Don wanted Chucky with a doll voice.

Originally Don picked this guy to play Chucky.

The movie would have been just another Dressed to Kill, The Curse of Humpty Dumpty or Hide n Seek. Neither did all that well. I'm grateful for the changes made to the original script.

I haven't watched the show and I am not sure if I even will.

I used to be a Fan of the "CHILD's PLAY" Franchise. I liked the First 2 Movies and I thought that the 3rd Movie was okay but then when I saw "BRIDE OF CHUCKY", I thought that it was so bad that it really just killed the whole entire thing for me. I never saw any of the Movies that came after it.
