The Last of Us : Another gay episode

Another gay episode

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

What did Kwong mean with the cup and the keys? The keys unlock doors to a bright future? The cup represents an abyss? The quotidian? They must have been metaphors for something. The episode was packed with symbolism and foreshadowing.

Just Like Heaven playing on the carousel, the girls in the arcade bathed in the colors of the lesbian rainbow, Mileena's kiss fatality foreshadows their kiss (even if it was Ellie who ended up giving the kiss), the back to back pose referencing the Greek myth of the origin of the different sexualities (lesbianism in their particular case), Ellie excited by the possibility of being served a taco by Riley, even Riley imagining Ellie in lingerie might be a hint, their best photograph is the scary one where they are aping monsters, they wear monster masks and do the monster mash, and then they kiss and turn into monsters.

Re: Another gay episode

I didn't notice those things or think too deeply about it.

I thought he just grabbed random objects on his desk.
