Re: 80's women
May I be the 3rd to agree,70's and most of the 80's woman are so classy and natural,to be fair, there are still many like that around today, but fake fame whorea are everywhere we look.
Re: 80's women
No tattoo's and natural look
Re: 80's women
Oh yes! Natural beauty in the 70's & 80's shines through!
Women didn't seem obsessed with their looks & they had an elegance to them that i rarley see at all these days.

Re: 80's women
"These days" I see a female population that is 50% obese, not obsessed with their looks.

Some percentage of fat women do not see themselves as unattractive, so I don't think you can say that all of them in effect do not care how they look.
On the other hand tattoos are always ugly. I think people, including women, get them in spite of that, to make some kind of "statement", the appearance of which they somehow think makes them attractive in some other way.
As for 80's women, some of the hairstyles look a bit silly today. But overall, yeah, they looked better despite that. Elegant? Good word. I would say more classy even more so.

Re: 80's women
Perhaps I've been fed up with today's freaky women, obsessed with waist sizes, how much they eat, and their shoe brands, forgetting what they really are: beautiful creatures
2018 women are even worse.
Re: 80's women
the hottest is Lee Purcell, who Skip accused of stealing a dress just to throw it away.

80's women
I saw this film many times over the years, but today I noticed clearer than ever how lovely women were then. In style, grace, just the way they carry themselves.
Perhaps I've been fed up with today's freaky women, obsessed with waist sizes, how much they eat, and their shoe brands, forgetting what they really are: beautiful creatures.
Just look at the black cook lady in the opening scene, the blonde chatting with the priest, the Asian beauty dancing at the jukebox, and even some of the women at the bank line. They are all so natural, sweet... you don't necessarily want to bang them, but you feel like it'd be great just to be around them, even if it's just for a little chat. The hairstyles, the natural smiles...
And of course, JoBeth Williams. Every time I see her in this film, I'm appalled. She aged very gracefully too.
Never be complete.
