Mr. Destiny : The whole thing was a fake.

The whole thing was a fake.

If he had really made a different decision then he should have had all the memories arising from that decision.

Re: The whole thing was a fake.

**** SPOILER ALERT ****

Not necessarily fake since at the end Mike (Bartender) tells Larry "you've been here the whole time" (at the bar) indicating the whole alternate life took place in his (Larry's) mind only that's how I understood it.

I don't think it was all in his mind. Remember how Mike made him that magic drink to let him see his alternate life. It also ended with Mike going back in time to see Larry after he strikes out to end the ballgame.

Re: The whole thing was a fake.

It's like a day of future past thing

Re: The whole thing was a fake.

Timeline A Larry is dropped into Timeline B Larry's life, already in progress.

Might be a better story in Timeline B Larry having to reconcile Timeline A Larry's life. That's how it works right? Full switcheroo?

Re: The whole thing was a fake.

A lot like the alternate 1985 in Back To The Future II.
