Goodfellas : Always makes me want to cook

I can't be the only one can I?

All the eating and cooking in this movie always makes me want to prepare a huge pot of Sunday gravy. The cold cuts, the backyard bbq, the prison kitchen (detailing their methods), the impromptu late dinner at Pesci's house: I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.

We Italians know how to do it right. Goodfellas, Godfather, Sopranos, Casino...there is always a food scene. Breaking bread with your family/group/gang...etc...is what it's all about. My friends and I always get together to make some nice pasta, sausages, steaks...etc...It's what its all about.
