I don't see which questions you asked that I'm avoiding.
I am against some of Trump's policies but those who oppose any and all types of border control and more stern immigration laws obviously aren't looking at what's happening around the world, particularly in Europe.
Some refugees have been accepted into Latin America, with mixed results at best. In Uruguay, for instance, they've only taken a handful of families and already there are reports of gender violence and child abuse, something that is happening on a greater scale in places that take in more refugees. Furthermore, despite the fact that those I mentioned in Uruguay are clothed, fed and taken care of by the government, they have expressed their dissatisfaction with this, making ever-increasing demands. In the end, getting to safety* isn't what they want. What they really desire is to be incorporated into the welfare programs of first-world nations and complete accommodation for life.
