Cinderella Man : Buster Douglas

Buster Douglas

They should do more fighter movies. Especially with underdog stories. So whose story gets told next? I think a Buster Douglas movie would be nice. He was a 42-1 underdog. The guy had virtually no chance of beating Mike Tyson, who appeared invincible at the time. His wife left him, his mother died. But still he went out there and he did the impossible. He knocked out Mike Tyson. The movie really doesn't have to demonize Tyson like they did with Max Baer. But they can still show him to be scary, as he was.

Re: Buster Douglas

He's a footnote in boxing history due to the fact that he never capitalized on that win, when many thought he took a dive against Evander Holyfield with his first title defense.
