I couldn't stand Billy and Alison, but I'm not gonna deny they had great chemistry.
Also, Peter and Amanda, Jake and Sydney, Michael and Kimberly, and Michael and Jane were cute in season 1 (sucked that it ended the way it did, but I did like Michael & Kimberly, is that weird?).

Billy and Allison (ok so they were SO ANNOYING but that's only because the writers forced drama between them constantly. They BELONGED together )

Matt and Rhonda (LOL they were NOT actually a couple, but let's face it These two had the most genuine, loving realationship on the show)

Micheal and Kimberly( Micheal was truly the WORST significant other in the entire Melrose/ 90210 universe but him and Kim's affair/ relationship was such a fun ride)

Amanda and Peter (as someone has already mentioned on this thread Yes, he did try to kill her that one time. But they were right for each other.)

Jo and Jake ( they were sooooo good together! I mean "Jake & Joe" just sounds perfect! The two of them just really worked well as a couple, and were one of the few couples to have a meaningful friendship post breakup.)

Well, in season one, they were my favorite too! Before Michael turned into a bad guy they were a nice couple.

Billy and Allison are sweet. Same goes for Jake and Jo.
Michael and Kimberly were fun.
Mike is a nutcase. Divorcing one woman, living with his mistress and sc**ing his sister-in-law.
I'm only on season 2.
