With Mr. Blue's attitude and 'luck', doesn't he seem to be what Ferris Beuller would be like all grown up and with spy training? Certainly seems like these movies would mesh well with the same character.

Well some people do get to glide through life. Everything seems to work out for them. So I'm not surprised a few movie characters are based on them.
