Shake, Rattle and Rock! : Ending?

The movie just kind of ended and left me feeling almost empty. The parents win and the daughter runs away with the 40 year old hoodlum? Didn't sit well with me at all.

I'm a big tough girl. I tie my own sandals and everything.

yeah,the ending kind of dissapointed me too.give me the original any day,it had a much better ending,and was more amusing.

hey, at the other girl and her friends got a record deal and go on to be famous.

Actually,I thought the ending was the most realistic part of the movie.The mother kills her dreams and self expression,and in an effort to escape that influence,she runs off with the older douche-bag and raises a batch of screwed-up kids that steal your property and have their own bad relationships and children. The End?!?!

This was a prequel to "Rock 'n' Roll High School" which was directed by the same director and features similar cast.
