Shake, Rattle and Rock! : Rock N Roll High School?

I've never seen this movie, but does it have some connection to Rock N Roll Highschool? because it has at least two of the same actresses (PJ Soles and Mary Woronov) who play characters with the same last names as their characters in Rock N Roll High school, Randall and Togar. Soooo, anybody have any idea? Not to mention the fact that the names of the movies are similar-ish.

Same movie some of the same peaple you should see R2R high school for your self. A very bad move but I loved it
