The Big Bang Theory : Prequel in the works.

Just read today that Jim Parsons is producing a Prequel to the Big Bang Theory where we see a young Sheldon. Jim Parsons won't appear in the show though. You can read the article here.

This has been discussed before. As I recall most fans were unenthusiastic. I certainly would not be interested. I might look and see if it's better than it's coming across, but at the moment, it doesn't look good to me.

If a prequal were to happen I'd like to see it be about raj and howard before meeting the others.

I like this idea.

What I would really like to see is a prequel focusing on a certain dysfunctional Nebraska family

I definitely would not watch that.
1. Sheldon is the only character I watch for now. He's what makes the show unique.
2. You'd have to show the bullying, loose side of Penny that has been shown when she refers to her younger days and I definitely would not want to see that.

I might enjoy that, depending on who they get to play her. But I expect it would have to be shown on HBO or Cinemax (Skinemax), not broadcast TV.
