Shameless : Aside from Rossum, who can play the role of Fiona?

Emmy Rossum is doing a great job as Fiona.

But who else can play the role?

Noone.

The only actress that I can think of who'd be as versatile as Fiona, that would be Tatiana Maslany.

Tatiana Maslany and she worked with Jimmy/Steve so chemistry is already there.

Tatiana can play anyone. She could probably play Frank if she wanted to ?

Christian Serratos who plays Rosita on the Walking Dead looks like she could be her sister.

Literally anyone.

Not every actor or actress, even great ones, comes across a role that so clearly speaks to them. A role they just get. A role that, for whatever reason, blends into their skin. Rossum has found that in Fiona. There isn't another actress on the planet that could play Fiona with the same or better nuance that Emmy Rossum does. Especially after seven years of growing with this character.

I agree. I was just thinking about this today. I can't think of anyone who could do it better. I'm sure other people could play Fiona well, but she'd be an entirely different character. I'm so glad she's finally getting the pay she deserves.

You can throw out names of actresses who look similar and do nudity, but as far as pulling off the characternobody.
