Life on Mars : Frank Morgan and Jim Keats

In LOM Morgan is the surgeon trying to save Sam's life referencing Hunt as the tumour to be removed. However, in A2S Jim Keats has a similar role (not of surgeon of course) but he does want Molly et al to turn on Hunt. Keats turns out to be the devil trying to steal souls by getting them away from Hunt (who has been protecting them). In light of this - is Morgan also the devil? Discuss.

I've always thought they were either a single entity wearing different faces, or perhaps were separate individuals representing the same occult forces that operate in that strange purgatory world.

Keats was not Satan. He was some sort of lesser being just below Satan.

Morgan was trying to bring Sam back to life in the real world. I suppose he thought he kept muttering Gene Hunt because of his tumour.
