Jingle All the Way : only 5.4 ?

This is one of best comedy about Christmas. Arnold is awesome in this movie!

I agree Arnold is the MAN! I consider him a better actor than he's given credit for his accent might hurt him but I think he's a good actor

Great movie. From Arnie's hilariously american name (despite his austrian accent), to the PUT THE COOKIE DOWN quote, to Anakin Skywalker and Troy McLure being part of the cast.

Amazing, amazing christmas movie. So bad yet so good.

I read on one thread about two years ago a lot of the Nolantards were going around IMDB with their sock accounts lowering the ratings of other movies so the Dark Knight would get on the top ten list.

While that may have been true, as I wouldn't put it passed some Nolantards to create sock accounts, The Dark Knight was universally acclaimed, it didn't compete with Jingle All the Way and no amount of sock-puppeteering can affect the weight of the thousands of honest votes both films have generated. I think it's safe to assume that Jingle All the Way is still too new (despite actually being 20 years old) to have enough soft-spots to forgive its faults. Over time, i'll likely rise in rating.

I give it a 6, which is a decent rating for a film like this.

It's not that bad of a movie. People have taken it too seriously. Gee

I gave it an 8. It makes me belly laugh a lot. Seeing Arnie flying through the air really tickles me.

People from all over the world vote on this site I believe. Also Americans are the one that made the movie in the first place too (you know, the one you called GOLD), so I don't really know what point you think you're making.

Are you serious ? Americans are 300 millions people. In Belgium, 700 000 people lives here.

That has nothing to do with anything. Why are you comparing USA to just one country when we were speaking of the entire worlds opinion of this movie vs americans? You know, the group you solely blame for the low rating. Apparently because we have more people it's our fault the movie that's voted on people all over the world has a low rating.

India has billions of people, by your logic you should be blaming them. China also has more people than the USA, why aren't you using them as a comparison? Your original comment is still silly, and you're just digging yourself a deeper hole here

This movie was a childhood favorite. Just watched for the first time as an adult. It really holds up! Well, except for the action part in the parade scene.
