Mission: Impossible III : rhys meyers in MI3: the most throwaway character in the entire series?

seen the film half a dozen times. i can't remember the camera being on this dude for more than three seconds in any single shot.

maybe cruise cast the part @ 4:45pm on a friday?

His character is pretty much a clone of the Ethan Hunt from the first movie, before his whole team was killed.

(I can't even remember the character's name.)
