Halloween Night : Halloween Night

Halloween Night

I have to admit, this was an OK movie, but the guy who plays the character of "David", the one who gives the halloween party, is one of the worse actors I've ever seen. I know that he is a director of some b-movies and a very attractive man, but his acting really sucks! Even the guy who plays the killer, (Chris Vale), is a better actor than this David character, even though he had no dialogue in the movie.

Re: Halloween Night

I agree, none of the leads were even close to being believable. A few of the other actors (in my opinion) did somewhat of a believable job.

Re: Halloween Night

This movie was HORRIBLE on all levels! I found myself laughing throughout the whole movie, especially the hanger death.

Re: Halloween Night

I agree!

My son and I rented it to have a bad movie to laugh at. It fulfilled our expectations completely!

The acting was terrible, especially by the "actors" playing the police officers.

The character motivations were ridiculous.

The sex scenes were gratuitous.

The ending was laughable.

All in all great fun!

the hanger death was hilarious!!!

Re: Halloween Night

I thought David was incredible! He was just sort of hanging out in the movie rather than acting in it. Hilarious.

Re: Halloween Night

I agree with the last guy-

For the type of movie this was, I thought the actor that played David (Derek Osedach) was great!

His random "mumbled" additions to otherwise normal lines are comedic gold :)

Re: Halloween Night

He is a super gorgeous man, I loved when he took his shirt off, he's adorably out of shape. I wonder if he's hit the gym lately. I wanted to poke his belly like the Pillsbury Doughboy's, see if he giggled. His little adlibs were cute, I'd like to see more of him.

Re: Halloween Night

it's just another *beep* rip off of *beep* halloween from 1978! it reminds me more of the 2007 remake that came out only a *beep* year later

Re: Halloween Night

I have to admit, I enjoy this movie on netflix instant as a guilty, bad movie pleasure. Non CGI death scenes alone in an Asylum production are enough to give this, shot in HD movie a chance. Also, I'm down with any movie that has gratuitous, girl on girl make outs and boobs. As far as the awful lead actor goes, he clearly thinks h is a better actor than the rest of the cast, with the obnoxious, improv lines mumbled under his breath. I think an acting teacher told him he was the next Mark Ruffalo or something, and he believed it. One reviewer on here says, the the other actors couldn't keep up with his style of acting. Let me say, if you are improving every line while the others are sticking with the script, you are the one that can't keep up. You can't have one guy deciding to do his own thing, it just makes him look like an ass. Director should have saved him from himself. Otherwise, good, simple, halloween theme, laughable slasher that's more watchable than most other of it's kind and budget.

Re: Halloween Night

I actually thought that David (Derek Osedach) was a very good actor, and basically saved this film for me. The movie was entertaining and kept my interest. My one complaint, though, would be that the death scenes were pretty novice. Some of the acting was sub-par (including David's girlfriend); his, however, was pretty strong.
