Torchwood : Has Miracle Day effectively killed the show?

Has Miracle Day effectively killed the show?

As a start point, I love Torchwood, more than Doctor Who.

But I think the longer it gets between seasons (it's almost 6 years from Miracle Day) the less likely it is we'll see Season 5.

And I think Miracle Day, while I applaud it for being ambitious with its international story and cast, and the incredibly brave decision to have a paedophile as a main character, in my opinion it got too far away from what the show was in the beginning and I don't think anyone can deny that fan reaction to it was lukewarm at best.

I honestly hope we get a Season 5 as I love the show but I just think it's too late.

Less a miracle, and more a death-knell, at least on tv.

Just a painted face on a trip down suicide row

Re: Has Miracle Day effectively killed the show?

RTD said the show could come back in 5-10 years. Maybe he wants to tell aged Jack stories.

The killing of Ianto ended any interest I had in the show.

Yup, pretty much.

I reckon Torchwood will be back one day even if it is in Doctor Who.

It's that man again!!
