The team giving him the flowers and the young man telling the coach the next touchdown he does was for her. And The Rock's reaction and him walking away trying not to cry It is a very emotional scene, The Rock was great in this film!!! He really can act, people should give him more credit. I was touched and shed a tear also with this scene. Trully a great film.

i cried so many timesit seemed like once i had stopped then there was another reason to crythis movie was really emotional.

i cried when the team gave im the flowers an the touchdon thing for his mom.. and the forgiving the dad.lets just say pretty much all the times that everyone has already said!

Yea the movie was full of emotional highs and lows and hit home a lot 4 me. My eyes watered a couple times from the sad parts, and even a few times from the happiness o seeing the kids suceed. Great movie.

the only other times i've cried at sports movies were david anspaugh's films. i enjoyed this much more than most of the similar films released. i was cheering for them every step. the flower scene as mentioned, and the end was what got me. good film.

I very nearly cried.from boredom - at being a "captive audience," having to watch this film with nothing else to do during a three-hour flight. I honestly think that flick is still playing somewhere up there at 37,000 feet
One thing I did learn from this film.I will NEVER EVER get on a plane again with no mp3 player or a good book to read!!!!

I hear ya, LOL! Usually when I'm on flights, I have my music handy and about three or four books. Upon the returning flight to home (which was maddening), they played Pirates of the Carribean(sp), which I've seen six times.

Yeah tell me about it! The cold will damn near kill ya! Run! Run back to Arizona while you can! At least one family member was intelligent. He left for Florida! LOL!

I totally cried, too!! My friends at work keep giving me such grief over it, too!! I think you could pretty much choose ANY movie and I bet I've cried during some part of it, for sure!

i dont cry in many movies but yes this movie did get me, so many sinces that got me, even when the player got shot in the field.

i shed alotta tears in the scene where 1 of 'em cries coz his mum doesn't seem to love him & also a buncha other ones. it's a really gr8 movie. im not much of a footy fan but this movie has got me a little more interested in the game.

I cried and I'm a guyI cried during the final speech his mom gave him before she died, reason being is my mom just died a very similar way and it hit close to homethe flower scene was very touching as well.

After just having done work as an extra in "The Game Plan" i had to see this and I admit I got a little choked up.
This was a really good movie-just hope the next one is as good!

I get a lot of grief from my mates about liking the rock as an actor, but i honestly think he is really good especially in Gridiron gang and walking tall

I had tears streaming quite a few times but not sobbing and boo hooing.. I noticed that I started doing this when watching movies after I turned 35 - Mid life "thing" I guess; just getting older and more emotional. Gridiron Gang was an excellent movie though and it was really moving emotionally.

lol, yeah this movie was a real tearjerker. My gf cried at the flower scene, then again in the credits when they said the waterboy got killed in a drive by.

I cried at both scenes mentioned in the movie. By now, Dwayne can act a lot more then John Cena.

I think some of you forgot the game scene where Willie is going for a touchdown and Kelvin, the fellow inmate he'd had problems with, runs up alongside him to block and free the way. Beautiful scene! I really enjoyed this movie.

oh my goodness, i love this movie soooo much. it made me cry like through out the whole thing.one thing noone mentioned was when willies cousin got shot at the very begining, that was really devastating.

extremely moving movie! was lucky enough to be part of a team who were lucky enough to win a cup during my senior year, anyone who has seen this movie, and has been in a team situation can 100% relate. great movie, constant lump in the back of my throat, made it all the more poignant when you seen the real footage at the end!

I had a feeling earlier on that this would be a bit of a tear jerker. Though I didn't cry, I def. felt my heart strings being pulled a little. Another teary moment came when they were told they had to forfeit the championship game and the team would be disolved. Then they showed up on the field shouting M-U-S-T-A-N-G-S.

I got really choked up and with chills at the end with the documentary footage, when kenny bates talks about wanting to have a relationship with his mom and wanting for her to say that he loves him. Man, poor kid that really got me.

I cried a lot in this movie for several reasons. The strongest reason why was because as a juvenile i did two years in a juvenile prison, and all we heard were put downs from the staff and nothing was there to try and build character or add change. Thats why these days i work in the juvenile correction field so i can hopefully be a change for these kids through my experiences.

I wanted to but like I was with all guys like NO GIRLS at all I was the only girl so I was like ok I am not gunna cry. And I only knew the guys for like a week so i was with 2 guys I knew for like a week and 3 guys I just met that day.

I didnt cry in this, but it tug the ole heartstrings at times. One scene from a football movie that did make me cry was the "my shoulder is fine" scene form WE Are Marshall. Dont know why, Anthony Mackie's acting just got to me.
