Okay, is it me or have I been hearing Johnny Tsunami call his grandson "porno" as a term of endearment for the past seven and a half years?

I think you're mistakening it for Pono. Pono is a hawaiian word. It does sound like porno though, when you think about it.

there really isn't a word for grandson in hawaiian, but the word for grandchild is Mo'opuna, and the word Pono, is the meaning for things that are positive, or righteous. I know this, because I'm from Hawaii.

pono is grandson. it is the same as the maori language which are basically the same but different at the same time.
