African Cats : Do any of the cats die during or at the end of the movie?

I read one review that says a cat limps off to die at the end. Is that true?

Sad to say, but yes, one does. The cat in question is a lion and mother to a cub (who thankfully wasn't a newborn, but still a baby, perhaps considered a toddler). While hunting, a zebra kicked her in just a way that hurt her. Also, some cheetah cubs passed away as well.

Ah, I do find animal deaths disturbing, but this is a film I definitely want to see.

There are some tragedies in the film, but as a whole I'd say it has a positive feel to it.

Even though that's natureit was very sad to watch her limp off and die!! Almost made me cry!!

I turned this on today and wasn't watching at first, but then gradually got pulled into it. This film was VERY well done, the cinementography was excellent. And I thought the narration by SLJ was on point and added a lot to the evolving story drama, considering the aniimals themsevles aren't form A Night At The Museum.

Layla's death made me tear up a little, she was such a trooper despite sustaining so many injuries.

Apart from the lioness already mentioned, also two of the cheetah cubs were killed by hyenas. They were frightened, ran off and never came back.
