Tyrannosaur : Mindblowing performance by Olivia Colman!

She was absolutely incredible in this movie! I was blown away by her performance. By far, the best performance by any actor in a 2011 movie.

Peter Mullan and Eddie Marsan were great too.
Also, I loved this movie's cinematography. I read somewhere that the director, Paddy Considine, has a degree in photography. Perhaps that explains some of the really interesting shots in the movie.

Agreed. Her performance was astonishing. I'm very surprised that I didn't hear more about it beforehand.

These performances needed some awards-buzz.

Couldn't agree more. So raw, realistic and at times very difficult to watch.
I cannot remember a performance that has stuck with me quite like Colman's did.
Absolutely robbed by the Academy. Not only should she have been nominated, she should have won.

Abandon the search for Truth; settle for a good fantasy.

Agreed she was fantastic and deserves recognition (makes a mockery of wooden bimbo actresses like Charlize Theron et al) - great work by Mullan and Considine.

2.) It is not necessary to ridicule one person in order to praise another. Nor is it a particularly pleasant trait in a person to do so.
