Saturday Night Live : When do they start making fun of Hillary?

Cause there's comedy gold in them thar Hills.

The writers miss opportunities by being always one-sided is all.

Considering how easy it's to make fun of trump by how he acts and the garbage that comes out of his mouth it makes sense.

It's better for comedy if they can see the humour for both,
rather than direct all this hate toward one side.

Considering they ONLY made an account to rail against people who voted for President Trump, I'd say they probably will never grow up.

While you are correct now that Trump is president there is no need to talk about Clinton, during the campaign, the love fest with Clinton and Trump bashing was waaay skewed. And while presidents are fair game, the level of attacks on Trump are extreme even for SNL. You used to get one skit and a few jokes on update. Now the shows are about half Trump bashing related. I have a much longer post on this but too tired to type it out again or find it, but the writers have shown their love of the democrats and hatred of Trump through out the campaign. It has become over played and just isn't as funny as it was the first time. How many times are they going to show Putin without a shirt? The bit is old. At least give us something new that's funny besides that or Alec's way over the top impressions. But new sketches not about Trump would take work, and it's a sign of lazy writing. Plus they think it's funny no matter how many times they do it. They don't think making fun of Clinton was funny, so they don't do it, bc they love her so much. It's their show I guess, but I think even if you hate Trump the same old bits have to be getting old.

Re: Putin. SNL's going all-in for the Left's talking point about Dem Bad Russkies. The Left used to care about avoiding the world being blown up in a US-Russia confrontation. Now they're like, "Bring it on", just to salve their butthurt.

there is not "Both" anymore. trump is president. hillary is no longer in the picture. she hasn't even been in the news in forever.

McKinnon's edgy, barely holding it together, HC was always played for laughs. It's just that (real life) Trump always did something more outrageous, and funnier, every week.

I'm a big fan of Kate McKinnon, but her performances, whether Clinton or Conway,
come off as more mean spirited and less funny.
The writers could have gone somewhere with Clinton's shimmy thing, but they missed it.

That joke was on SNL. SNL has mad fun of Hillary. Most commenters' problem on here is the frequency in which they mock Trump and the extent of the joke. Either feeling it's too much or too cruel.
Their solution is to either tone it down, or, make fun of the other side just as much.

Why doesn't SNL make Dwight Eishenhower jokes? Howard Taft jokes? Hillary is yesterday's papers.the government is totally run by Republicans.

Where were the vicious jokes at her expense when she was running? Where were the jokes attacking 0bama when he was POTUS?

They've flat out said that "0bama was hard to make fun of."

I don't know when they started. Probably some time back in 1992, I would imagine. They usually show a "vintage" episode in the 10 pm time slot, so you may catch one of those episodes then. Both Phil Hartmann and Jan Hooks have passed away since they began, but they've hired many replacements and put them to work. But your question was as to when did they start, so I would check out the 1991-92 season.

They have made fun of Hillary tons of times..and sometimes quite viciously.Amy Poehler was pretty mean about her tendency to laugh at the wrong moment.Wayne's World made fun of Chelsea Clinton once when she was only 12..Bill has been shown to be an irresponsible partying playboy on the show repeatedly..emails, her illness, and a few other issues were made fun of last year.

But like I said in a previous post.the Clinton's are now yesterday's papers and about a s funny as Herbert Hoover jokes.get used to the Trump jokes or stop watching.
