Phantom Punch : How is Stacey Dash's performance?
Re: How is Stacey Dash's performance?
I thought she did a damned good job.
Re: How is Stacey Dash's performance?
I haven't even seen this movie. But when you say the name Stacey Dash, then that alone speaks volumes about the movie's credibility (or lack thereof I should say.)
Stacey is a stunningly gorgeous female and one of the hottest starlets around. But the poor woman is just a lousy actress. I've seen her in a few movies and have actually laughed at her lack of acting ability throughout her films. I could just imagine how bad she would be in a lead role in this movie.
Her ludicrous "acting," coupled with Jamie Fox's "direction," would easily explain why the movie was never released in the theater.

Badou_Boy,
I totally agree this post, but I'm afraid that I don't understand your first.

Re: How is Stacey Dash's performance?
Hard to say how good an actress she is or isn't because, frankly, her look is so distracting. She has a unique look, and you tend to concentrate on that.
Overall, not the best film, and it's still not clear whether or not Liston took the dive, or just who controlled him.
I WOULD agree with a suicide vs. murder angle in the sense that, if he DID take a dive, he would NEVER have been able to live with it long-term. He was cocky and competitive. He was Mike Tyson before there was Mike Tyson.
