Grey's Anatomy : The prisoner
Re: The prisoner
I know. I was looking for the same thing. I just remembered, she is the actress who played the sister on FINDING CARTER.
Re: The prisoner
Anna Jacoby-Heron.
I was impressed by her performance.

Re: The prisoner
I was a little disappointed that they didn't tell us what she did.

Re: The prisoner
Me too.
Re: The prisoner
Trying to figure out why they deliberately left that out. Was it to show that mom coldly abandoned her daughter and it didn't matter what she did? Was it a set up for the revelation Bailey laid on them at the end? Why leave it out?

Re: The prisoner
I think it's to show the audience that a pregnant woman in prison should be treated like a human being regardless of her crime.

Re: The prisoner
Most likely murder. To get twenty years to life for any thing less is rare. And for a sixteen year old to get charged as an adult and sent to a maximum security federal prison, she iris something major.
Re: The prisoner
Perhaps she murdered her father? I don't recall any mention of a father. If she did in fact murder her father, that might account for the mother's bitterness and refusal to see her daughter.
Re: The prisoner
What I thought is that she killed her brother or sister Idk
Re: The prisoner
Yeah. I assumed she had to have killed a family member. That kind of sentence implies murder. The mother's indifference to the daughter implies she hurt someone close to the mom :/

Re: The prisoner
Yes, but that's the mother. She should have been close to her daughter. My bet was on the father having abused Kristen and so she killed him, but I am not entirely sure anymore. That mother's line "I don't even recognize her anymore" speaks to me of the mother caring more about appearances and reputation. Especially coupled with that woman's entire appearance and "priorities".
Re: The prisoner
That's very true. The mom seemed to want to keep everything looking "normal". As if she wants to adopt the baby and just start over like nothing happened Sad. :(
Re: The prisoner
That's what I thought too. If she killed a sibling or her father, that could have emotionally messed up the mom so bad that she can't even look her daughter in the eye right now. And just wants to get that baby as far from her as possible,to give the baby as normal and stable a life as possible. Or as others have said, start over with a new daughter, which is emotionally messed up in its own way.
Re: The prisoner
Yeah I think it was a "new daughter" type of situation, and that's really sad. :(
