On June 19, the Swedish crown princess Victoria Bernadotte married a prince of the people - Daniel Westling. After the wedding ceremony, she said to the crowd of admirers outside the royal castle in Stockholm: "thank you for giving me my prince". At the wedding dinner, her husband, now titled Prince Daniel, held an unforgettable and very moving speech.

Princess Victoria is a descendant of Queen Victoria.
