The Walking Dead : Didn't Maggie take control of the Hilltop?

Didn't Maggie take control of the Hilltop?

This is where I am confused, prior to the winter break, Maggie basically took charge of the Hilltop, which was after the Walker attack caused by the Saviors, and essentially made Gregory a figure head. Now in the premiere all of sudden Gregory is in charge and Maggie is not making the decision to help Rick, I thought she was in charge and making those type of decisions.

Re: Didn't Maggie take control of the Hilltop?

She did, but with TWD, you're apparently not supposed to remember that. Gregory has also proven that he would sell them out at the drop of a hat, yet they go blabbering their resistance plan to him.

Re: Didn't Maggie take control of the Hilltop?

It's not "official" yet, so Gregory THINKS he's still in charge. Can't wait for Gregory to die! I hope they don't keep him around too much longer. He annoys me so!

Re: Didn't Maggie take control of the Hilltop?

Psst. You answered it, yourself. "Figure head."

Re: Didn't Maggie take control of the Hilltop?

I was half expecting someone to either shoot him, kick the cr@p out of him and drag him outside to ask what they thought of his leadership. Either way he should have been toast. TWD has form in forgetting where the story was left at the break and this is just another example.
