Turns out, the bullet that Coral shot her with in the prison only grazed her skull; she woke up days later, stitched herself up, survived off of canned food several weeks, and found her way out of that section of the prison around the time the Governor attacked it with his tank.

Lori assumed that Rick & Carl were dead, but managed to find a few Woodbury people, and together they embarked on a trek northwards to D.C., in hopes of finding something left of the government.

She picked up strays along the way, and settled in that area where the houseboat is.

Next week will feature a heartwarming reunion between Rick, Coral, and Lori - it is one of the few positive moments on an otherwise dark show - and definitely something not to be missed! :)

The "friend" referred to in the episode description is Morgan. They reunited with Morgan when they went to the Kingdom.

That crossed my mind, too, when I was digging through to think of who has disappeared without closure. I had another thought.maybe a little far-fetched. I watched the beginning of the episode again and noticed how agitated Father Gabriel was before he cleaned out the supplies and weapons and drove away. There's a close-up of him looking at two pages in a book, but even when I paused it, could not figure out what those pages meant. At first I thought they were some kind of inventory, but the left hand column made little sensejust a letter of the alphabet and then three digits. When we see the Bible hit the ground, it might not have been as random as I first assumed, but that he put it on the floor opened to the page in the notebook that said BOAT. (I don't get exactly what that meant, either.) Another huge thing that I missed on first watch is that someone sits up in the back seat of the car as it drives away. Maybe the good Father had some plan to reconnect with someone. (Here's where that theory falls apartwho???)

Here's hoping that all will be answered next Sunday night. And that Daryl and Carol find each other. And that they talk Elijah into joining the cause.

When I think of "trolls" on here I'm think of the ones that is picking on others, constantly complaining and etc. Yeah the comments on here could be serious and just answer the OP question, but sometimes its great to have a little humor and the comments actually made me laugh. Anyways, OP to answer your question I'm not sure who he saw I love that smile he gave in the end.a little creepy I haven't seen Rick smile that big since season 1 I think. Like the one post said I think Rick saw a group that can beat the saviors.

Every other strange group has been a threat and if you were surrounded and out numbered by an armed group in the ZA smiling would be the last thing you would do.

He left the 'Boat' message, he took all the food and hand weapons, and they did track him to that area. Something he read triggered his current actionsSeems obvious to me everything he took was an offering of goodwill to this random new group of survivors. He's trying to contribute in the only way he feels he can.

It was Hershel's head on a stick telling Rick that he always was an azzhole.

My theory is that it is Gabriel. We last see in the first half finale that this mystery person made it to Alexandria, where Gabriel was on watch. That person says they have an army and wants to team up, but they need their food. Gabriel makes the quick judgement call to bring them all their food. That mystery person knows about the boat and knew that Rick would know what that clue would mean.

He made the quick and decisive decision because he knew if he woke up everyone else to ask permission, they'd say "hell no, that's all our food!" but it'll be worth it having their army to fight the saviors.

Those people are now in Gabriel's good graces, and they're willing to fight the Saviors to thank Gabriel.

This is sounding like the most likely outcome. It sounds good and if so i think it will be for some good television.
