John Wick: Chapter 2 : Is Ruby Rose the new Angelina Jolie?

I thought Ruby Rose did a great job in Wick 2. Question: Could she take on the type of starring action roles that Angelina Jolie used to do? Lara Croft, for example.

No telling, but she definitely has that sort of on-screen presence/it factor that makes you think 'Yeah, this is a person who belongs in the movies'

Even if she is just destined for sort of featured roles, stand-out supporting characters, villains, etc etc.and never really breaks out as a star in her own rightshe's going to find plenty of work.

I think she's been in 3 theatrically released films in the last month? XXX, Resident Evil, John Wick.

I like ruby but I don't think she's THAT great. She's hot, in a sense, and I liked her in orange is the new black, but idk.

She will probably fade away and without many people even knowing who she is. She is in way too much stuff right now like eveey Hollywood action movie seems to cast her, maybe pick someone else no offense. Not really a fan at all

That's a fairly good analogyalthough I get far less of a Latina vibe from her than Michelle Rodriguez, who always came off as rather overtly Latina

She is lesser than Michelle though. And Michelle I think fit a certain stereotype very hard, and wasn't a bad actress for what she did.

Ruby has less of a tough-girl presence, more of a unique attractive visual flair, but less personality. She isn't as hard-cast stereotype either.

Michelle has more impact on a movie. You can feel her in it.

Ruby is more of just there. Visually appealing, sure, but just there.

Resident Evil 6, John Wick 2, xXx 2 I haven't seen her in xXX (and won't, because I never cared for the other two) but I have seen the other 2. She doesn't speak in this one (mute) and only has a few line sin RE6, which are nothing to brag about, before she disappears in that one.

I like her style, but it's way too early to tell if she'll hold on and become a real actress. She's definitely no Angelina. She is also very, very small. And she isn't Michelle either.

Jolie is so overrated. Boney arms and legs. Early on she had a nice face and tets. But very quickly it became apparent that she was an annoying actress and not really all that good looking.

Ruby is better looking but not deserving of any huge stardom. Also overrated.

She lost way too much weight in 2011 and got bottox too, the reason she got thin and then got bottox is related

When you get bottox you look like an inflated doll so, by losing weight we didn't notice much. Still bottox is garbage, i mean look at Bradd Pitt in 2017, he looks like an inflated doll. he got bottox because jolie told him to do it, then he divorced hahahaha
