It's a Big Big World : Best beginning and end songs ever

Whoever wrote the opening song and the closing song are awesome. They're so catchy, but not in that "so catchy it's annoying and I want it out of my head" type thing.

I couldn't agree with you more. My 1 year old son will stop dead in his tracks no matter what he's doing if he hears either song. I just wish I could download or purchase them somewhere.

Go to the It's a Big, Big World website and you can listen to a number of the songs including the beginning and end songs, videos are can also be found on the site. This is one of the few kid programs that's music is not totally annoying.

I couldn't agree more! My 11 month old daughter looks at the TV and starts clapping and throwing her hands all over the place and makes loud noises in such excitement. I wish there were DVD's and CD's out there for this show. I even watch it with her.

I agree, I am a teenager, and I love that song! I even memorized it, havent heard the ending song yet.

Hah it's real sad. I was flipping through channels (mind you, I'm 20 yrs old) and I couldn't tear myself away from this damn show!! And I absolutely fell in love with the ending song!! It was the cutest thing ever! I was so stoked.

my son, conner, and i absolutely love this show! the first thing that comes out of his mouth in the morning is "mommy, is big big world on?" we sing the songs together everyday. i was just thinking the other day that this show has some of the best songs on it! they are all so well written, and the music is beautiful! i hope this show stays on the air for a long time!

I flipped when my husband started watching this with my son at about 5 1/2 months. The whole, "I don't want him addicted to TV thing" He's almost 7 mths old and totally loves the music on this show. He recognizes Snook immediately and will calm down instantly when he hears that goodbye song. Sometimes we hit the website just to play it if he's upset and we can't console him. Hopefully it'll still be around as he gets older and can understand some of the educational aspects of the show. Two DVD's were released today and hopefully the merchandise will follow soon.

my one year old nephew loves this show, and he stops whatever he is doing when the end song comes on. They're doing something right.

i love their songs too, and im 21, and i have a 4 month old baby, i had him watching that since he was a newborn pretty much. I hope he gets to like it enough to call it his favorite, right now he just likes cartoons and he'll watch this too.
