The Bye Bye Man : This movie gave me a nightmare and I haven't even seen it yet

Last night I dreamt there were small children that didn't want to live so they were all saying "bye bye man" so he would show up and kill them, and I was trying to keep little Jacob Tremblay (from Room) from saying it, telling him he has too much to live for, then because the other kids said the words "bye bye man" he looks over my shoulder, terrified, I turned around and everything went dead silent and I suddenly saw the bye bye man standing right next to me and then it jolted me awake.



I don't ever have nightmares and I see lots of horror movies. I find it odd the one horror film to give me a nightmare is a terrible one that I have no incentive of ever watching. It was kinda cool tbh. Haven't experienced something like this since I was really young

I have nightmares about the title alone! At an oriental gas station around the corner from my home, an albino Asian who's always working the register says 'Bye Bye, man' Everytime I leave. Freaks me out.
