Taboo : quirky editing on FX

i'm guessing it's because of the parts that have been censored-out but there are these strange little moments when one shot doesn't match another or someone/something has moved without it being shown.

sure wish we could choose for ourselves what version we wish to see.

What would be censored out? Language andviolence sure isn't. A nipple perhaps??

from what i read, most-likely nudity and possibly even *more* profanity.

I haven't noticed this.

As far as I know, there has been no censorship in either the FX or BBC episodes.

The most 'risque' things on eps 4 were the shot of the disemboweled thug, pissing in a bowl, a guy's behind, and a blowjob (with nothing shown really just a bobbing head)

Based on Sons of Anarchy I doubt anything from that was edited

What's the run time for the broadcast you're watching and does it have adverts?

On the BBC it's around 57 minutes with no advertising.

If what you're seeing has been edited down my first guess would be cut for length to get ads in.
