A Dog's Purpose : Book vs Movie

I enjoyed the movie, but the book was better of course. The book is entirely from the dog's point of view while the movie also shows the human point of view.

Thanks for this, I loved the book and will see the film but I am reasonably sure it won't equal the book. But I like being forewarned what to expect by way of differences.

Staying true to the book would have been more expensive. It would have been nice to see Ellie and Jakob reunited as in the book.

Books should always be read after seeing the movie. I won't have that problem.

I only wanted to read the first life but that is already a ton of differences. I will read it soon.
