Rings : Why no VHS players?

Its silly to presume everyone has internet access. Most people I know still uses & rents VHS films.

There is a VHS player at the beginning of the movie.

You must live in a time warp from the 90s. I don't know anyone around me who still has a VHS player. It's hard to find someone who even has a DVD player still..

That means 1) you don't know anyone. 2) You only know people no older than 28. or 3) you are just an idiot and your parents have their VHS locked away in boxes.

Next thing you know some idiot will be saying because they own an IPOD, no one they know owns a DVD player.

Uh what? Are you trolling me or do you have a problem? My grandparents are in their 80s and they don't even own a VHS player. I threw my VHS player away back in 2000. I think the only people with VHS players are those weird hipster types, old people in dilapidated senior homes, or schools stuck in the 20th century.

Galecki's character watches the tape and the guy on the plane had mentioned the tape a girl from a party had sent him. I have to assume that someone copied said tape to an online service to save themselves from the curse and it gets rick-rolled to the rest of its victims

Where the heck can you still rent VHS films at? Those rental stores must be very rare. There are no stores around me even sell VHS tapes anymore. The only places I might find them are thrift shops, but not too many people donate their VHS tapes to thrift shops anymore. Their VHS selection is always very limited.

Blockbuster my friend!! Tower Records have them as well.

LOL Please tell me that you're joking. Blockbuster is out of business. At least in most places. Even if they were still open, you can only rent dvds or blu rays. Blockbuster discontinued VHS tapes for years. Tower Records has been out of business since 2006. Are you still stuck in the 90s? It's 2017. You can't rent vhs tapes anymore.
