The New Adventures of Old Christine : First 'wine drinking' sitcom?

I don't recall a sitcom where the main character drinks wine so often and there recurring jokes about it. Now there is Penny on Big Bang Theory, the ladies of Cougar Town and Claire on Modern Family but it seems Christine was the first.

You mean besides Norm on Cheers?

I don't recall seeing Norm drink much wine.

I know Karen from Will and Grace drank a lot, but I can't remember if she was a big wine drinker or just liquor.
